The Day A Princess Was Born

On the morning of Thursday, December 6, 1995 Mommy and Daddy and Mimi went to the hospital early in the morning to get a Baby Princess Named Brittany.

It took several hours and much hard work on mommy's part,
and lots of coaching on Daddy's part,
and lots of nervous tears on Mimi's part....

But

we did get a beautiful baby princess

and now she is 12 years old...

and getting sweeter and sweeter
and more like a true princess every day!

Okay, now that's an understatement, but we won't go there ~ lol!! ;o)

And you know you are not really the teary nervous sort ... okay, maybe on the inside, but not on the outside (except for maybe when I almost passed out in the hospital bathroom - lol). And for your steadiness I'm just so very thankful. I don't know how I ever would have gotten through that first nightmare week of recovery without you by my side in full nursing mode! Oh, how often I've benefited over the years from your nursing degree!
