Fog

Nauset Lighthouse Standing Guard in Thick Fog by Darlyne A. Murawski
Nauset Lighthouse Standing Guard in Thick Fog

The fog comes
on little cat feet.

It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

the photo with the fog is nice, you should see the fog rolling into the San Fransisco bay. Some times all you see it the very top of the bridge.

I cannot see my hand before my face,
My body does not seem to be my own,
The world becomes a far-off, foreign place,
People are strangers, houses silent, unknown.

Ah, I remember learning that one, too! I love lighthouses. We had a strange kind of fog today, which turned into tornado weather. Really weird for the front range!

Mimi,

A beautiful photo. Fog is so mysterious, don't you think? I love lighthouses. My favorite so far is the one at Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia. I have seen the waves pounding the rock there and I've also been there when it was so foggy that it made me disoriented. Thanks so much for sharing.

Blessings,
Mary

Beautiful. Being landlocked, we get very little fog here.

Nice picture! Yes, the fog can be a target to take a photo from, as well.
But I hope you can see now, hope the fog is gone away.
Thank you for sweet comment to me.
Have a blessed weekend!):

What a lovely post. Thank you for sharing. I hope you have a blessed weekend. Just in case you did not see on my answer to you there is a free online pattern that debbie macomber posted regarding a prayer shawl. http://www.debbiemacomber.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=nnp&pageID=196

You can also pull up other patterns on her site. I hope you enjoy.! Thank you for the support and the advice on my blog.

I am still figuring out how to knit. I have the casting down, and purl stitch down. :)

Blessings

That may be the only bit of poetry that I remember studying in High School. The words just captivated me!

Lovely photos too!

I am having a guest blogger on my Prayerfully Yours site tomorrow. I would be so honored if you would come by and offer her your support tomorrow. She is a military wife and mother and she is doing the Memorial Day devotion and prayer.

Be blessed.
