Lovely Rooms

A Friend loveth at all times (Prov. 17:17)

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. (Prov. 18:24)




Friends, you are the keys
with which God has unlocked
lovely rooms within me.

They might have remained
closed off forever
Had you not quietly turned the knob
and stepped inside.

Through admiring your discoveries there,
You have deepened my sense
of personal worth.


We took sweet counsel together and walked unto the house of God in company (Ps. 55:14)

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13)








Thank you for overlooking
the ugly, cluttered closets
in my life
And for opening up my finer self.
