Good Morning God

The Sun Breaks Through the Clouds to Highlight the Summit of Pikes Peak
The Sun Breaks Through the Clouds

to Highlight the Summit of Pikes Peak

You are ushering in another day
Untouched and freshly new
So here I come to ask You, God,
If you'll renew me, too...

Forgive the many errors
That I made yesterday
And let me try again, dear God,
To walk closer in Thy way...

But, Father, I am well aware
I can't make it on my own
So take my hand and
hold it tight

For I can't walk alone

Good Morning Mimi,
What a beautiful picture of Pike's Peak and the poem to go with it. "THANK YOU" for sharing it with us. We do need to ask for foregiveness each and everyday of our shortcomings. He will forgive us and see us thru another day. I have finally put up a new post this morning. Hopefully things will get back to normal since my DH has left for work this morning. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I love your choice of picture today (down the road from us - we can see it as we head down the interstate on a clear day), and also the lovely poem.

Thanks for stopping by today! It was nice to be back home and hold those tiny little girlies this afternoon!

What a splendid poem! This would be a nice one to have written out on an index card and placed on my nightstand!

That is a lovely poem! If I have a bad day, I always remember that I can ask forgiveness and tomorrow is a brand new start with no mistakes! Seems like the bad days occur when I let my hand slip out of His.
