Flock of Seagulls Flying
These singing days of dawn and dew
By shattered ocean's sunlit blue,
The gray-white seagull poised on high,
Dark shadow painted in the sky...
Two Rowboats on Beach
Strong wings glide in spiral flight
In dappled clouds of God's gleaming light,
Sea air swirls by and the wind blows free,
Mist links as one the beach and me...
Bird Superimposed Over Ocean
Wild wings soar in God's mystic might,
Eerie cries echo in airborne delight.
Nature's rare blessings our wondrous God gives
That fill our hearts with joy each day we live.

I adore this post...Have a great week ...Mary
I really like the last image - the photo collage - very interesting and expressive.
I always enjoy the challenge of photographing the gulls when we are near the ocean.
Mimi,
I have watched them in flight and listened to them.
Thinking of you,
Miriam
You put such beautiful poetry and art together. Lovely!
To answer your question:
My folks live about a half mile from me. My sister lives 4 miles across town. My oldest brother lives in Idaho, the youngest one in Oklahoma, and the middle is in England. So getting us all together is a challenge - there are now 54 of us, just our immediate family. But it's worth the effort!
The post is beautiful. Just what i needed to start my day. Thank you for sharing.
Hugs and blessings sent your way.
Just beautiful, Mimi, so peaceful with your music ~
